The Picky Chick offers the opportunity to shop before the general public by simply making a $5 donation at the door.
100% of admission proceeds go to CHARITY! Nominees are accepted on our FB page , please check there to see when nomination dates, voting dates & other pertinent details.

Spring 2011 proceeds went to support Baby Ruby Coker, $965.82.

The Picky Chick supports/has supported the following charities with monetary donations and/or donations of unsold clothing, toys & baby equipment. We have been blessed to be able to assist these organizations who serve families in our neighborhood & beyond.
Fountain City Ministry Center
Located in Central Baptist Church of Fountain City, 5364 N. Broadway, Knoxville, TN 37918. Hours of operation are Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 2pm-4pm and Wednesday 6pm-7pm. FCMC is a cooperative effort of community churches. Their mission is to honor God by serving the needy of our community by providing emergency food, clothing, financial and spiritual assistance through united local churches. www.fcministry.org
Angelic Ministries International
Located at 1218 N. Central St. at the corner of Oklahoma, Knoxville, TN. They are open for donations Monday - Friday 10am-3pm and Saturday 8:30am-Noon. Angelic Ministries Int'l is a non-profit, non-denominational ministry providing assistance to those in need in Knoxville, surrounding counties and countries around the world. www.angelicministries.com
Second Harvest Food Bank of East TN
Located at 922 Delaware Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37921. They may be contacted at 865.521.0000 and their office hours are Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm. Second Harvest distributes food to roughly 140,000 hungry people every month through a network of Partner Agencies throughout East TN. Agencies are non-profit organizations dedicated to feeding the hungry and include church pantries, shelters, group homes, local kitchens, after-school program sites, rehabilitation centers and many others. Their Mission Statement is: Second Harvest works to eliminate hunger in our 18 county service area. American Red Cross for Haiti Relief

Wesley House Community Center
The Wesley House is a Christian ministry, called by God to nurture wholeness and hope by empowering children and families through service and education.
